Another French converted farmhouse is the impression one gets as you arrive at this property. Not at all, or in part only, the piece on the left - now studio and workshop, is the only original part left, the main house was built during the 1980's with recycled and modern materials. So no exposed stone or low oak beams here, just straight walls, square corners and loads of insulation.

Upstairs, are five well presented bedrooms (although not all used as bedrooms - note the music room), with laminate flooring. Some have fitted wardrobes to add to the space this house offers. There is an upstairs shower room and access through here into a loft area where the boiler is placed. There is even a balcony outside the main bedroom.

The land is equally well maintained with established borders and trees. The heated pool is the focal point of the garden and is 11 x 5 meters in size. The pump is located in a useful sized shed where you can store mowers and garden tools. Whilst the house has no garage a car port could be built at the end of the house.

The property is a short drive to the town of Sauzé Vaussais where there are supermarkets and places to eat out. The local village, five minutes away has a bar restaurant. Less than one hour away is Poitiers with all the shops, restaurants, cinemas etc. of a big city – including the airport and TGV links to the UK. ©
